| The above modules are delivered through a full PowerPoint presentation featuring state of the art animation and are accompanied by a clear delegate workbook with sections for notes and Q&A sessions with plenty of simple, custom designed illustrations.
In addition to the modules there are a number of interactive group exercises, which allow the delegate to put into practice their knowledge gained from the course up until that point. The exercises are complimented by ready to use training tools including a board game, DVD's and quizzes.
Each exercise is underpinned by a group discussion and debrief to encourage further understanding of the subject matter.
On the fourth and final day the delegates will undertake an exam under the appropriate exam conditions. This will take up to 60 minutes to complete. During the course we will have structured revision sessions and complete at least one mock exam. The delegates will also receive coaching on their project, which will need to be completed after the course and returned within seven days.
Upon successful completion of both the exam paper and the project all successful delegates will receive an IOSH awarded Managing Safely Certificate.
Delegates will have the knowledge and tools to tackle the health and safety issues they're responsible for and whilst they will not be 'Safety Experts' they will certainly understand why health and safety is such an important part of their job.
As an employer, you will have staff who hold a nationally recognised and respected certificate and the peace of mind offered by training that is quality controlled by IOSH.
